“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” (James 1:2–4, NASB95)
“I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:18, NASB95)
You are still the dawdling child in some areas of your life. This child grew up in fear of censure from a perfectionist parent or teacher. If something could be put off, the day of reckoning would be postponed. This hidden child of the past is still dominating your adult life, making you postpone doing things you are afraid that you may not do well. Let Me heal memories of the undeveloped part of you that is afraid of failure. In My Love this child of the past can now grow up into a mature person who does not have to procrastinate. Pray for My grace – then let Me do in and through you what you cannot do alone!
