But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul. When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, then in later days you will return to the LORD your God and obey him. For the LORD your God is a merciful God; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your forefathers, which he confirmed to them by oath.” (Deuteronomy 4:29–31, NIV84)

“He answered: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”” (Luke 10:27, NIV84)

I am the Lord your God and I will not fail you.  Today the going will be rough; but as you center in Me now, I am in you to strengthen you.  Rest in Me now before the daily testings begin.  In quietness and confident trust in Me will be your strength.  My Love is filling you NOW – brimful, over-flowing, spilling out to meet the needs of others whom you will encounter.  Accept each one in My holy Love.  See each one with My Wisdom.  Unless you love Me with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind, you will not be able to love your neighbor.  You will not even be able to love (accept) yourself.  My first commandment is to love Me.  Then My Love will enable you to accept yourself without self-condemnation, but in honesty.  When you know in your heart, mind, and soul that I love you just as you are, then you will not have to criticize others to justify yourself: you will be able to love them as yourself.
