Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I will dwell in them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people. “Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you. “And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty. Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.” (2 Corinthians 6:16–7:1, NASB95)

Beloved, you are the temple of My Holy Spirit.  Do not willfully defile My temple.  You have a very great part to play in the cleansing of the temple, for I will not overrule your freedom of will.  You must make holiness your aim.  You must by an act of will cleanse yourself from the habits that defile your body – gluttony is one of them.  Do not expose yourself to the old temptations, but replace them with greater love for Me.  Take My hand for I am your Father.  You cannot do this cleansing alone but I cannot do it without your surrender of will!  You must want to be Mine more than to lean on the old crutches, the old defiling habits.
