“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28, NKJV)
Your heart has been restless because you have not found rest in me. The world’s pleasures will not fill the aching void in your heart. You need to spend more time in quiet with Me. You have been busy doing – but I am concerned about your being. I can be your hope of glory only if you are “in Me.” The world’s humanism seeks to draw you away from Me. – from depending on My ever abiding Presence to bring real fulfillment in your life. You are never too young – nor too old — to learn to rest in me. You must seek Me early in the morning and pause to rest in Me throughout the day if you want My peace to abide in you. Despite the many pulls in all directions, you can keep Me at the center of your life, even on a busy day. Then you will not be pulled apart by the conflicting pressures and responsibilities, by the demands of each day.
